Richaven served as the primary project manager and coordinator for the Owner’s Representative to design two aircraft hangars at King County International Airport. Richaven successfully coordinated a diverse team of engineering consultants and design-build subcontractors to complete an accelerated design process and develop permit documents. The aircraft hangars were developed for a fixed base operator (FBO) and were intended to be leased to local businesses for storage of their aircraft. In addition, the FBO provides services such as fueling, deicing, sanitary services, and food services for their clients. Facilities for these services were provided in the hangars as well.
